Supported Vehicles & Engines

Our unlocking service supports select BMW vehicles equipped with compatible ECUs, including applications featuring:

• B58 – 340i, M340i, 440i, M440i, 540i, and more

• S58 – M2, M3, M4, X3 M, and X4 M

• S63 – Select M5, M8, X5 M, and X6 M applications

• B46/B48 – 230i, 330i, 430i, and more

• N63 – Select BMW V8 applications

• B57 – Select BMW diesel applications

• MINI – Select compatible models

Service Options

Local Drop-Off

Drop off your ECU/DME at our location for unlocking. Once completed, your ECU will be ready for pickup.

Please contact us in advance to schedule a drop-off.

Mail-In Service

Not local? Ship your ECU/DME directly to us.

Once your unlock is complete, we will securely package and return your ECU to you.

Shipping instructions will be provided after your order is confirmed.

Important: Dual-ECU Vehicles

Each ECU/DME requires a separate unlock purchase.

Most BMW vehicles require only one ECU unlock. However, certain vehicles, such as the F90 BMW M5, utilize two engine control units.

For dual-ECU vehicles, customers must purchase two unlocks to unlock both units.

Examples:

• BMW M340i: 1 ECU unlock

• BMW G82 M4: 1 ECU unlock

• BMW F90 M5: 2 ECU unlocks
